Expect a repeat of Saturday's mild, mostly cloudy day on Sunday in the Triad

(WGHP) — Partly cloudy skies this evening with temperatures remaining in the 70s until 10 PM. Cloud cover will increase overnight leaving us with mostly cloudy skies Sunday morning.

We’ll repeat Saturday’s weather again on Sunday with morning temperatures in the mid 60s and afternoon highs reach the upper 70s. We’ll start the day with mostly cloudy skies but they’ll become partly cloudy by the afternoon. A stray shower still can’t be ruled out with less than a 20% chance for rain.

Breezy conditions will remain in place through the weekend and start of next week with northeast winds between 10 to 15 mph.

Rain chances begin increasing into the start of next week as we monitor a low pressure system off the southeastern United States. The low pressure system may develop into a weak tropical system before moving inland which could bring us rain and breezy conditions for part of the work week.

Temperatures will be in the low 60s Monday morning with highs in the mid 70s. Isolated showers will be possible.

The best chance for rain looks to be Tuesday with the potential for scattered showers. Temperatures will be in the low 60s in the morning with highs in the mid 70s. Winds will be breezy out of the north at 10 to 20 mph.

Isolated showers remain possible Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with partly cloudy skies. Temperatures for the second half of the week will be in the low 60s in the morning with highs reaching the upper 70s.
