(WGHP) — A few passing clouds this evening with temperatures in the 70s through 8 p.m. Winds remain breezy this evening with gusts to 25 mph possible.
Clouds roll in overnight, leaving us with mostly cloudy skies to start Saturday morning. Temperatures will be in the mid-50s to start our morning, with highs reaching the upper 70s in the afternoon. While we’ll start the day mostly cloudy, we’ll see a mix of sun and clouds by the afternoon. Winds continue to remain breezy on Saturday with gusts to 25 mph possible.
Mostly cloudy skies on Sunday and scattered showers possible. We’ll start the morning in the upper 50s with highs reaching the mid-70s. While a few scattered showers will be possible throughout the day, the better rain chance arrives Sunday night with a line of showers between 8 PM and midnight. We could hear some rumbles of thunder as the line moved through, but no severe weather is expected on Sunday night.
The severe weather threat returns on Monday as a cold front approaches from the west. A line of storms will be possible in the afternoon and evening on Monday, with all severe weather threats possible, including damaging winds, hail and an isolated tornado threat. Exact timing and threat levels will be ironed out over the weekend, so continue checking in with the FOX8 Max Weather team. Temperatures on Monday will be in the low 60s in the morning and highs will reach the mid-70s in the afternoon.
Mostly sunny skies return Tuesday with morning lows in the upper 40s and highs in the upper 60s. The sunshine doesn’t last long, though as mostly cloudy skies return on Wednesday. Temperatures on Wednesday start in the mid-40s and afternoon temperatures reach the upper 60s. Isolated showers will also be possible for the middle of the week. The chance of rain on Wednesday is 30%.
We’ll see a BIG warm-up into the latter part of the week with morning lows on Thursday in the mid-50s and afternoon highs reaching the low 80s. Skies remain mostly cloudy both Thursday and Friday with isolated showers also possible both days. On Friday, morning temperatures start in the low 60s and afternoon highs reach the low 80s.
