PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — Use extra caution this morning on the roads because patchy fog will limit visibility.
Patchy fog will be possible through about 9 am. Portions of the foothills are experiencing dense fog this morning and this will also clear up closer to the 9 a.m. hour.
Temperatures are in the mid-60s out the door this morning with afternoon temperatures reaching the mid-80s Wednesday. Mostly sunny skies will dominate today however a stray shower can’t be ruled out this afternoon.
The chance for rain today is less than 20%. Mostly sunny skies on Thursday with temperatures in the mid-60s in the morning and highs in the mid-80s.
A mix of sun and clouds Friday with isolated showers and storms possible. Temperatures will start off in the upper 60s with afternoon highs reaching the mid-80s.
The chance for rain is 30%. Upper 80s Saturday afternoon with partly cloudy skies. Isolated to scattered showers and storms will be possible to kick off the weekend with a 30% chance for rain.
Mostly sunny skies return Sunday with morning temperatures in the low 70s and highs in the mid-80s. Isolated showers/storms will be possible but the chance for rain is 20%.
Mostly sunny skies stick around for the start of next week with morning temperatures in the upper 60s and highs in the mid-80s.
Stray showers are possible both Monday and Tuesday but the chance for rain is less than 20%.
