Lee County sheriff’s deputies have arrested a local man on multiple child sex charges.
According to a press release from Lee County Sheriff Brian Estes, Mario Darrell Williams, 43, of Jonathan Lane in Sanford was served with an indictment Thursday after deputies with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team executed a search warrant at his home.
Williams is charged with four counts of statutory sex offense with a child less than 14 years old, two counts of statutory sex offense with a child by an adult, two counts of statutory rape of a child less than 15 years old, and one count each of statutory rape of a child by an adult and indecent liberties with a child.
Williams was placed in the Lee County Jail under $4.1 million secured bond.
