Two suspects broke into a Davidson home while the owners were away, police said. Multiple departments are searching for them.
DAVIDSON, N.C. — The Davidson Police Department is asking the public for help identifying two burglary suspects who are on the run.
A security alarm rang out from a home on Woodland Trails Drive on Friday night around 9:30 p.m. Officers said a forced entry had been made into the house.Â
Home security cameras caught video and pictures of the suspects as they ran off. Both of them were wearing hooded sweatshirts and one subject was carrying a backpack.
Police say the homeowners were not there when the suspects broke in.Â
Cornelius Police and Huntersville Police, along with their K-9 team, are helping to look for the suspects. They are searching the area to identify a direction of travel and the location of a possible suspect vehicle.Â
“There is no indication the two suspects remained in the area,” a Davidson Police Department spokesperson said.

Officials are asking people to report to police if they saw any suspicious vehicles in the area of Woodlands Trail Drive, Mayes Road, or Laurel Oak Cres.
