Cool, dry Sunday expected in the Piedmont Triad

PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — A cold front will be passing overhead tonight, and winds will become a bit gusty just after the front passes. Skies will be clearing tonight with a low around 50.

Cooler and drier air will be the norm for Sunday and Monday with highs in the low to mid-70s and lows near 50.

A gradual warming trend starting Tuesday will raise our highs back above normal for the rest of the week.

Highs Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be in the low to mid-80s with lows in the low to mid-60s each night.

A chance for some scattered light rain each afternoon will arrive by Wednesday, with the best chance for any storms coming on Friday.
