High pressure continues to build southward from the Great Lakes, bringing dry, cooler conditions to the Piedmont!

It’s going to be a superb day to get outside and enjoy the weather.  We will have mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies today with highs in the mid-70s, which is a whopping 10 degrees below normal! To make it even better, the humidity is going to be low as well.

Skies become mostly clear tonight with lows returning to the mid-50s.

The forecast remains dry through the end of the work week, with temperatures gradually warming to the lower-80s by Friday.  Over the weekend, we’ll start to feel the humidity creeping back in, and highs are going to warm up under sunny skies.

On Saturday, temperatures will top out around 83°, and on Sunday, temperatures are going to rise to 86°, which is close to the average high.

As the work week begins, we are going to return to summery heat and humidity.

On Monday and Tuesday, highs will be close to 90° with heat indices in the lower-to-mid-90s.  If there is any consolation, the conditions will remain mostly sunny to partly cloudy.
