PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — Cold temperatures will continue to chill the Piedmont.
Snow fell down across the Triad overnight into the early hours of Tuesday morning leaving visible snow in the grass and on cars throughout the region and creating icy road conditions.
Tuesday will be mostly sunny and cold with highs around 40 degrees.

A Minor Special Weather Statement is in effect in Davie County due to slick and frozen roads.
Wednesday morning will be very cold with lows in the mid to upper teens! Under sunny skies, highs will climb into the middle 40s on Wednesday.
A cold front moving across the Piedmont will bring in breezy conditions on Thursday. Our skies will be mostly sunny with lows in the low to middle 30s and highs near 50 degrees.
We will feel the chill on Friday with lows around 20 degrees and highs around 40 degrees. Friday will be a sunny day.
Saturday morning will be very cold with lows around 20 degrees. Saturday afternoon will be mostly sunny with highs in the middle 40s.
Sunday, mostly to partly sunny skies with lows in the upper 20s and highs in the lower 50s.
