Cold front to drop temperatures to 40s Sunday in the Piedmont Triad

PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — A cold front has dropped down from Virginia and our high temperature on Sunday will be much cooler than previously expected. We should see a high Sunday only around 46 to 48 with a mix of sun and clouds.

The low Sunday night will be near freezing, but after that, we will see much warmer weather for Monday and Tuesday.

Monday’s high will be near 63 with sunny skies and the high Tuesday will be near 70.

Another cold front is expected by Wednesday which will bring us a chance for rain on Wednesday and Thursday and bring our high down to 52 on Monday and 61 on Tuesday.

Thursday and Friday should see highs in the 60s with lows in the upper 40s to low 50s.
