Cold front to bring Thanksgiving showers to Piedmont Triad

(WGHP) — It will be a dry travel day across the Carolinas on Wednesday.

Partly to mostly cloudy skies on Wednesday with lows in the middle 30s and highs in the upper 50s.

Our next cold front will bring showers, especially on Thursday morning, with lows in the upper 40s. Scattered showers will stick around during the day, perhaps drying out in time for Thanksgiving dinner. Highs on Thursday will be in the low to middle 60s. Chance of rain 60%. If you are spending Thanksgiving in eastern North Carolina, they could have a few thunderstorms Thursday afternoon and evening.

Behind our cold front, it will begin to cool down. Mostly sunny on Friday with highs in the lower 50s.

Mostly sunny and cold on Saturday with lows in the middle 20s and highs in the middle 40s.

Partly sunny and cold on Sunday with lows in the middle 20s and highs in the middle 40s.

Even colder on Monday. Sunny skies with lows in the lower 20s and highs in the lower 40s.

Tuesday, mostly sunny with lows in the lower 20s and highs in the lower 40s.
