On Wednesday, Tropical Storm Ernesto should pass just to the northeast of Puerto Rico. After passing Puerto Rico, the storm should strengthen into Hurricane Ernesto and move into the open Atlantic. By Saturday, Ernesto will threaten Bermuda as a strong Category 2 hurricane. While the system should not make landfall in the United States, Ernesto could generate rough surf for our beaches this weekend.
