Clear skies and a high of 78 on Thursday in the Triad

PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — Enjoy another beautiful day with low humidity! 

We’re starting with partly cloudy skies, but sunshine is forecast to take over by lunchtime.

Highs are going to be in the upper-70’s this afternoon.

Skies stay mostly clear tonight with lows returning to the mid-50s.

The forecast remains dry through the weekend, with temperatures gradually warming to the lower-80s by Friday. 

FOX8 Football Frenzy games are looking fabulous, with clear skies and temperatures in the lower-70s for most games. 

By Saturday and Sunday, highs will warm up even more, to the mid-80s under sunny skies.

As the work week begins, we are going to return to summery heat and humidity. 

On Monday, the highs will be in the upper-80s, but the humidity may make it feel like the lower-90s.  On

Tuesday and Wednesday, highs rise to the lower-90s with even more humidity.  Sky conditions will remain mostly sunny to partly cloudy through the middle of the week with a slim, 20% chance of rain Wednesday afternoon.
