
WILMINGTON — An affordable flight carrier has new routes flying from Wilmington International Airport starting this fall.
On Wednesday, Breeze Airways announced new flights going to Ohio New York, and Florida. Plus, it will double its weekly service to another Florida destination.
Flights include:
- Akron-Canton, Ohio — Mondays and Fridays, starting Nov. 7
- Fort Lauderdale, Fla. — Mondays and Fridays, starting Nov. 7
- Long Island-Islip, N.Y. — Thursdays and Sundays, starting Oct. 2
- Tampa, Fla. — Thursdays and Sundays, starting Oct. 2
Breeze Airways — which began flying from ILM in February — announced it will up its flights to Orlando to a four-time weekly service. This will be offered on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays starting in September.
Breeze is a leisure airline service, with flights on its Airbus A220-300 aircraft as inexpensive as $39 one-way. Travelers can customize their needs accordingly, as Breeze’s fare bundles feature full flexibility along with other add-ons such as bags, seats and inflight WiFi.
