WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — An armed robbery happened at a hotel in Winston-Salem early Sunday morning, according to the Winston-Salem Police Department.
The Winston-Salem Police Department responded to a reported armed robbery at the Courtyard by Marriott, 1600 Westbrook Plaza Drive.
Two men dressed in black clothing had a handgun and demanded money from the register of the hotel. The men fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money, according to police.
Police said the men were last seen fleeing the hotel in a vehicle on Westbrook Plaza Drive.
There were no reported injuries, according to police.
