LENOIR COUNTY, N.C. — An Amber Alert was issued Monday for a missing Lenoir County teen who was last seen on Saturday.
The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office said 15-year-old Yesenia Denise Lopez was last seen at her home in the town of Seven Springs at around 11 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30. Lopez is described as a Hispanic female who is approximately 4-foot-11 and weighs around 150 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white sweater and black pants.
It’s unclear where Lopez was heading or who she may be with. Anyone with information is asked to call the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office at 252-559-6118 or 911 immediately. Witnesses can also call the North Carolina State Highway Patrol at *HP.
Lenoir County is located about 232 miles east of Charlotte. It includes the city of Kinston and is located along the Neuse River.
