RALEIGH, N.C. (WGHP) — We are 81 days from the 2024 presidential election and the presidential candidates are focused on North Carolina this week.
Vice President Kamala Harris is scheduled to speak to supporters Friday afternoon in Raleigh. She boarded Air Force Two just before noon on her way to the state’s capitol. She was scheduled to be in Raleigh last week, but Tropical Storm Debby changed those plans.
Vice President Kamala Harris is visting Wake Tech’s campus, speaking about economic and housing measures that her campaign says are going to make up her first 100 days in office if she’s elected come November.
This will be one of her last campaign events before the Democratic National Convention starts on Monday in Chicago.
