Asheville makes Forbes top travel destinations list

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Months after Hurricane Helene devastated western North Carolina, Asheville remains one of the top destinations for 2025. 

Downtown Asheville remains open for business with plenty of shops, restaurants and galleries to visit. Forbes editors also mentioned the city’s most famous attraction, the iconic Biltmore Estate. 

Other notable destinations include Amsterdam, Morocco, Santa Monica, California, and Brisbane, Australia.
