A cold front will drop southward through the Piedmont this afternoon, and we will have increasing clouds overnight. Lows are expected to dip into the upper-30s.
A steady northeast wind is going to continue to push the cold front into South Carolina, and we will have a dramatic change in temperatures tomorrow!Â
It’s going to be a cloudy day with a slim, 20% chance of showers. Highs are only going to make it to the upper-40s. Rain chances increase to 50% Wednesday night, and we could have as much as 1/4″ of rain by daybreak.
Clouds are expected to stubbornly cling to our skies on Thursday, but sunshine is back as the work week ends on Friday. There will also be another pleasant warm-up on the way with highs in the mid-to-upper-60s. Â
The weekend is looking cloudy with isolated showers on Saturday and highs in the mid-50s. There is a 50% chance of rain Sunday morning as another cold front comes through.Â
Steady, southwest breezes ahead of the front will push highs back into the upper-60’s Sunday afternoon, and we may even see some sunshine before the day ends.
