Warmer weather on the way for frigid Piedmont Triad

(WGHP) — The Piedmont deep freeze is slowly coming to an end.

Mostly to partly cloudy skies on Thursday with lows in the low to middle teens.  A little after lunchtime, we should climb above freezing and finish with a high of 36 degrees.  Sunday, January 19 was the last day we had a high temperature that was above freezing.

Friday, mostly sunny with a low around 20 degrees and a high of 40 degrees.

Sunny on Saturday with lows around 20 degrees and highs in the lower 40s.

Mostly cloudy Sunday with lows in the middle 20s and highs in the upper 40s.

We could see a few showers on Monday, otherwise partly sunny with highs in the upper 40s.  Chance of rain 30%.

Tuesday, sunny with lows in the upper 20s and highs in the lower 50s.

Mostly sunny Wednesday with lows in the lower 30s and highs in the middle 50s!
