IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — A man was charged after driving his pickup truck into a motorcycle driven by a trooper with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol on Thursday in Iredell County.
The crash happened around 3:45 p.m. on U.S. 21 near N.C. 115. A 2002 Toyota Tacoma driven by Westley Allen Newton, 38, attempted to turn left from a gas station, according to highway patrol officials.
