WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The Winston-Salem Police Department (WSPD) is seeking multiple petitions against a Calvary Day School student for making threats.
The student allegedly made threats of violence against students and staff. They were removed from class as a precaution, police said.
The Department of Juvenile Justice denied the WSPD’s request for secured custody orders. Instead, police are seeking multiple juvenile petitions for the involved student.
The investigation is ongoing.
