2 arrested and charged after over $4 million in drugs seized: Forsyth County Drug Task Force

FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. — Two people have been arrested and charged after a drug bust, according to the Forsyth County Drug Task Force. 

Detectives said they conducted a traffic stop and searched a house at 1512 Lewisburg Pointed Drive.

Detectives seized 15 pounds of methamphetamine, 4 pounds of cocaine, fentanyl, four guns, $2,000 in cash, and a 2021 Audi Q7 as a result of the investigation. 

Lynn Davis, 44, was arrested and charged with: 

  • Felony trafficking methamphetamine by possession

  • Felony trafficking cocaine

  • Felony trafficking by transportation

  • Felony possession with the intent to sell and distribute a Schedule 1 controlled substance

  • Felony trafficking heroin

  • Felony maintaing a dwelling for use, keeping, or selling of a controlled substance

  • 4 counts of felony possession of firearm by felon

  • 2 counts of felony possession of a stolen firearm

  • Misdemeanor resist, delay, and obstruct

  • Misdemeanor possession of marijuana

Cayce Potts, 36, was arrested and charged with: 

  • Felony trafficking cocaine

  • Felony possession with the intent to sell and distribute a Schedule 1 controlled substance

  • Felony trafficking heroin

  • Felony possession of a stolen firearm

  • Felony maintaing a dwelling for use, keeping, or selling of a controlled substance

Davis has a bond of $2,500,000 and Potts has a bond of $280,000.
