1 killed in southeast Charlotte shooting, Medic says

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person was killed in a shooting in southeast Charlotte early Thursday morning, Medic said. 

Multiple agencies responded to a reported shooting along Lucy Jane Lane, not far from the intersection of Sardis Road North and Monroe Road, around 6:30 a.m. Medic said one person was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police haven’t released any information at this time. It’s unclear if anyone has been arrested and the victim hasn’t been identified. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
